It was bound to happen
It finally happened, I injured my scalp. I decided that I would try and keep up my shaved head on a more frequent shaving schedule. Before I would wait about two weeks then take some clippers to it and then go about shaving it. Well, apparently I fucked up, which I should be use to. There was a mild pain, then I noticed the flap of skin hanging off my razor, which prompted a sigh. I’ve had injuries to my face before, and I have become familiar with the specific feel of blood going down ones face. Needless to say, I had to hold my breath in order to not scream as I washed my head that night.
In other news, I have become an avid watcher of woot, and got myself of all things, a zune. Do you know what this means? I’m going to start listening to more podcasts! Seriously, as a podcaster I really should listen to more. Before I got my zune and started using its associated software, I listened to maybe one a month. Now on the other hand I have six different podcasts lined up on my zune for listening. At the gym, podcasts are great.
On an odd note, this is one reason I don’t like spiders…. they can get huge.
Also, I picked up Watchmen and Overlord 2, PC edition, today. I will say a few things about Watchmen. Firstly, it looks great on blu-ray, mmmm… friggin glorious. When I was walking around Best Buy I noticed that they had some creepy asseditions of Watchmen out. The normal editions were almost out when I walked into the store and there were piles of those, gee, I wonder why. Overlord 2 on the other hand, is fun as crap. I never did play the first one so this is my first trip into its little world. It’s a fun and comical game really, and I suggest you go find a demo for it and give it a try. If you do have a pc that can handle it, get that one…. and the fact the PC version is $20 cheaper than the console version helps a lot. That $20 might even cover the cost of say… your Watchmen movie?
Have fun kids!
P.S. The Eberron Campaign Guide came out yesterday, go pick your copy up! If you’re me… your nearby stores are all sold out and you now hate them.

I’ll throw a few podcast recommendations your way good sir!
I’m at work, so I won’t be providing links, but a google search will bring up any of these pretty quick.
RPG:
The Sons of Kryos: Tons of great gaming advice, and these guys have a natural, likable charm about them. They went to video, but so far have only produced one episode. Their back episodes are great, though.
The Independent Insurgency: Rob Bohl interviews many game designers. He’s a great interviewer. Check out his interview of Luke Crane on Mouse Guard.
Theory From The Closet: Clyde Roher also does great interviews, and occasionally does a solo cast about RPG design theory. Check out his interview with Ron Edwards on why White Wolf games cause “brain damage”
Trapcast: General goofy fun. Started as a 4E podcast but their forums got invaded by Hippies (Myself and Rob Bohl among others) and now they’re going all storygames. Watching that Transition is interesting. Also, it has two chicks and they talk about sex.
The Brilliant Gamologists: Excellent production values and kinda funny. Covers traditional gaming pretty well, which means for the most part I find it a bit on the boring side. Still recommended, though.
This Modern Death: Started as a Shadowrun/World of Darkness podcast, but the Hippies got to them, too.
The Tome Show: Pretty good D&D Podcast. You and Them are the only two D&D podcasts I listen to.
VideoGames:
Idle Thumbs: A grunt-level programmer at Telltale Games (they did Sam n Max and the upcoming Monkey Island adventure games), and editor for Gamasutra (Industry magazine/website) and an editor for Shacknews.com (My favorite gaming news website) sit around and bullshit. Hilarious, sometimes very insightful, and always entertaining. One of my favorite podcasts out there.
Other shit:
This American Life: NPR show that’s usually very interesting, sometimes very funny, and sometimes heartbreaking. Highly recommended.
Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History: Great if you’re a history buff.
The Skeptic’s Guide To the Universe: Science and Skeptical news. Very highly recommended.
This’ll get ya started anyway. Of course, don’t forget about http://www.rpgpodcasts.com
